▪ Assess plant readiness based on future R&D requirements in terms of invest and capacity

▪ Drive process to translate R&D requirements into tangible impacts on the plant (in terms of invest, capacity, capability)

▪ Build up a thorough understanding of R&D processes within the plant organization

▪ Promote new technologies tire sizes and products within the plant

▪ Act as main technical interface to R&D and keep open and honest communication between R&D and the plant

▪ Supports planning & manufacturing of experimental Tire Order, is responsible for on time delivery and reports

▪ Ensure SOP of new products and technologies according to R&D requirements and plant objectives

▪ Lead structured problem solving tasks/projects for industrialization challenges in the plant

▪ Execute industrialization activities of new and experimental materials, products and processes in close cooperation with R&D. (Trigger performance neutral alternatives)

▪ Offer technical alternatives which are optimized for process capabilities, cost, minimized rework and comply with the established Release Notice Procedure, Cured Tire Dimensions, and QMD Standards

▪ Ensure that internal KPIs are met on a consistent basis and initiate structured problem solving tasks in case of deviations;

▪ Drive the 3-4-1 concept within the plant 

▪ Provide technical support to production on performance relevant constructional / tire engineering issues by using appropriate Problem solving methods

▪ Promote teamwork and efficient distribution of tasks within the 3-4-1 and business team concept within the plant organization

▪ Take part /steer global and local PI related and cross-functional projects

▪ Learn new technologies and tools in PI and ensure their implementation

▪ Translate global PI strategy into action plans and ensure actions implementation

▪ Configure and present task area-related reports on demand and on regular basis

▪ High education (Chemistry). Post graduate qualifications in Polymer Chemistry is preferred ▪ Minimum 1 year experience in tire/polymer business ▪ Understanding and applying project management (as project member / leader) ▪ Knowledge of rubber / polymer / elastomer chemistry ▪ English language skills (at least intermediate level
